The Market Insights Writer role is critical to the Newswires mission of making news actionable for investors. Every day, the Market Insights Writer will help interpret breaking news in ways that help the world's most influential market participants better understand the emerging opportunities or risks across various investment opportunities.
You will bring deep knowledge of companies, investing and finance and be able to quickly analyze important news and identify the positive or negative implications across assets for investors, in line with our mission to make news actionable. We are seeking a writer who is succinct, fast and not afraid to take a point of view.
Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance is important, along with a general understanding of what information investors need to inform their trading strategies. You should be a strong writer with deep data skills who stays on top of industry and financial markets’ trends and is able to defend your commentaries when challenged. You Will:
Write quick, short-form commentary on major breaking news, providing interpretation, context and color to make news actionable for investors.
Write occasional long-form commentary on key trends and themes that will help investors understand collateral impact across industries, regions and assets.
Interview key market players and company executives to gather exclusive insights.
