Dow Jones News Editor, Speed & Trending in LONDON, United Kingdom

Job Description:

The Wall Street Journal’s Speed & Trending team is looking for

a top-notch editor to identify and guide stories from start to finish

out of our London bureau.

This is an opportunity to be a core member of the Journal’s

London hub, working with reporters, and collaborating with

bureaus to identify and publish stories quickly to jumpstart the

day. You should have significant experience working with reporters

and the confidence to see stories through to their fullest

potential. A deep respect for the facts and comfort with business

and financial topics are essential.

You will:

  • Ensure that each piece is accurate and meets the Journal’s high ethical standards.

  • Help move stories more quickly to conclusion and improve our digital presence

You have:

  • Superior wordsmithing skills.

  • An even temperament that facilitates collaborative work.

  • At least three years’ experience in a similar role.

The position will be based in London and report to Speed &

Trending Coverage Chief, Kimberly Johnson.
