The Wall Street Journal is looking for an experienced journalist to become the next editor of Risk and Compliance Journal.
You will be part of the WSJ Professional Products team, and will focus on corporate risk, sanctions, whistleblowers, and issues confronting compliance officers.
You should have deep knowledge of and skill in writing about corporate governance, risk management and compliance, ESG, legal and workplace issues.
You will work with the reporters in the team to conceptualize and develop daily and enterprise news stories that provide high-level insight to a professional audience, and curate and deliver a daily newsletter with the right tone and content.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to lead a team and write stories that are becoming more relevant to C-suite decision makers and boardroom directors, from vaccine mandates to cybersecurity to ESG regulations.
Previous experience in covering such issues isn’t necessary, but is a plus. At least five years’ experience as either a reporter or an editor is required. Experience managing a team of reporters is welcome.
While you will likely start the job working remotely, you will eventually be based in our New York office.
This position reports to the Professional Products Editor.
