Dow Jones New York-based Editor, WSJ. Magazine China Edition in NEW YORK, New York

Job Description:

The Wall Street Journal seeks a serious and seasoned editor for an exceptionally compelling role: the New York-based editor of WSJ. Magazine China edition. This bilingual editor will be play a key role in liaising between the flagship and Chinese editions of WSJ., working closely with both editorial teams to produce a beautiful international edition that maintains all of the magazine's ethos. Candidates should have experience managing, assigning, editing and writing, including at least 3-4 years of editorial experience in both English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and edit all local content written by the WSJ. Magazine licensees, as well as the content they are repurposing, ensuring that it is in line with the editorial standards of the Wall Street Journal

  • Work with the Art and Photo teams to ensure that the visual integrity of the magazine is upheld each month

  • Curate additional Journal content for the licensed edition

  • Commission and edit original content for publication in the licensed edition
